Most productive week so far. I've been recently occupied with my personal stuff, and now that it's over, I can confidently say this will be a regular workload from now on.
Here's a quick rundown of big updates from this week.
1. Organization work
For the first time, I made a Notion account and started utilizing it. This is my game's progress tracker, and honestly, this is quite life-changing and helps me greatly to view what's going on.
+ I also created a publisher list for me to contact; I wasn't planning on getting one, but I have now decided to try getting one yet again. Making a possible list could be a nice way to start.
2. item pick-up feature
As mentioned in the previous dev log, the second day will include a binder that includes the information needed to proceed. I made the ability to pick up that binder and also flip through it.
3. Music addition while hiding
Now, when the player hides from the guard, the suspenseful music will play in the background. The music will stop smoothly when the player stops hiding. You can check this out in the video.
4. New logo idea
I've been thinking of a new logo for the game since the current logo does not really reflect the theming of the game. The new logo will have more of a 90s feeling to it with explicit North Korean references.
5. Steam UPDATE
All of the screenshots from the Steam page were very outdated. I replaced them since the current week saw the biggest visual change recently.
This is also my new capsule art idea. This will go up on Steam as soon as I get my new logo done.
